Tequila & Improv

This weekend the hubby & I had a much needed night out in Midtown, Atlanta with some good friends.  The plan was dinner at a new Mexican restaurant in Midtown Atlanta called Escorpion and then we strolled on over with our Scoutmob's to Whole World Theater.

Needless to say the night was a success!
Escorpion-Midtown Atlanta

My friends and I really enjoyed the food & yummy (very strong) margaritas.  If you like Tequila...then this is your place!  It is to be considered a "tequila bar".  They have a whole menu dedicated to tequila & tequila mixed drinks, not to mention tequila flights!  Hello drunky McDrunkton!  The pork Tamale is delicious as well as the Queso Fundido, grilled shrimp taco, and...well as a group we kinda all got one of everything...and nothing was bad!

Whole World Theater
If you are looking for a night out on the town BUT to do something different then I suggest you check Whole World Theater out!  It is a really fun laid back time.  A great date or gals/guys Night out place.  Every night is different so the show is always changing & new!  If I had to compare it to something...It would be like a live version of "Whose Line is it anyway" with Drew Carey.

I know we are always looking for something else to do besides the normal bar scene.  Hope you guys check it out & ENJOY it as much as we did!

Small town newlyweds in the big ATL

We are newlyweds from opposite poles of the United States.  I am from a small town in Louisiana.  Gonzales to be exact...which just hit 10,000 in population!

My hubby, Cory, is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota but lived in Louisiana for ten years before we met which means he has been practically converted to a Cajun or close enough for my family & I to love him all the same.

We just wed in March and are trying to cope with a new move to Atlanta, Georgia.  Both of us being UBER excited about being married and living in the big city are ready to create a life and a home with each other in the new hustle & bustle of the ATL!
